Karen Song
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, one of the best journalism schools in the country. I have anchored, hosted, and produced for the NPR and NBC affiliates here in Mid-Missouri.

I grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, site of the revolutionary war and meeting place for famous transcendental writers such as Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Nathaniel Hawthorne. I graduated from Stanford University with a bachelors in Human Biology. Interestingly, this course of study prepared me for journalism by teaching me how to ask the right questions, boil information down to its essential components, and be observant and curious about the natural world around me.
